Horrible news! After paying for the application fees, first month's rent, and a move in fee, and all of us signing a lease, the landlord decided no!
They broke contract and told us to fuck off and then struggled to refund our money.
We did finally get all our money back, however this was super fucked up and illegal of them, and its absolutely fucked that we now have to start the process of finding an apartment while Trans & Disabled TM again. I really hope we dont get discriminated against another three times before we can get into another apartment. Our current place is inaccessible and horrible, and we would rather die than stay here another year, but our current landlord allowing us an extra month (with the rent increase, obviously, that has been going up every year despite the place only getting worse) is allowing us to have somewhat of a cushion while we search. Please wish me luck, gang.

I'm currently trying very hard to find a new apartment by the end of February, and every rejection just hurts me more and more, and costs more and more money that I do not have.
I feel like very hour I am inching closer and closer to my own psychological flatline, and yet I still find it in me to try harder and be kinder.
My loved ones love me, and I love them. Love is stronger.

I forgot that I can also just make a blog like this lmao. This rules.
I think it's really fun that game design is far easier for me when I get to write it out in html code. Also I was wearing knee-high socks at the time? Peak 90's trans woman tbh. I like to organize things as I go and I think that writing under the constraints of html really improves my ability to think and create.
I'm getting my second tattoo on Saturday for free from a guy who's practicing his craft up in Roger's Park. He said he has a bunch of insect flashes so I'm probably going to get a cool bug on my arm!
